Fisher Futures

The Fisher College of Business Office of Career Management has developed Fisher Futures, a unique and innovative program to aid you as a top finance student at Fisher in attaining experience in the investment banking industry. While the application process is lengthy and selective, we invite you to apply to become a member of the distinguished Fisher Futures program.

The sessions offer you the opportunity to learn more about investment banking, the Fisher Futures program and the application process.

Freshmen: Investment Banking Pathway (IBP)

Program and Requirements

Once selected to join Fisher Futures, you will receive individual coaching preparing you to compete for a summer internship and thus be well positioned to secure a full-time career position in the investment banking industry upon graduation.

Requirements:

  • You must be admitted as a Business Major in Fisher with a Specialization in Finance and/or Accounting by Fall 2025
  • You must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA
  • You must be available for a summer internship in 2027 (May - August)
  • You must be planning to graduate by May 2028

If you are accepted into Fisher Futures, you will:

  • Compete for a Summer 2027 internship in the investment banking industry
  • Participate in a Fall 2025 2nd Session class and Spring Semester 2026 class to prepare for networking and interviews in investment banking as well as to gain an understanding of the industry
  • Train in financial modeling with Wall Street Prep
  • Take part in trips to Chicago (November 2025) and New York City (January 2026) to visit investment banks and network with Fisher alumni in the industry.
  • Be featured on the Career Management Website, including your resume, bio, and photo

 

Courtney Askin

Courtney Askin is from Sparta, New Jersey and is studying Finance at The Ohio State University. During her sophomore year, Courtney was selected into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and received certification in financial and valuation modeling through Wall Street Prep. Outside of class, Courtney is an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. During the summer of 2025, Courtney interned at Rosewood London in their finance department. 

In her free time, Courtney enjoys listening to music, traveling, and crossword puzzles.

Cole Bertram is a Finance and Accounting student at the Fisher College of Business from Canton, Ohio. He was selected into the highly competitive Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and received a certification in financial modeling and valuation through Wall Street Prep.

During the summer of 2024, Cole started interning with Continental, where he continues to work on the Central Finance team throughout his duration at Ohio State.
 
Outside of school, Cole enjoys tennis, boating, skiing, hiking, and watching Cleveland sports.

Aryan Bommena is from Lewis Center, Ohio and is currently studying Finance with minors in Computer and Information Science & History at The Ohio State University. As a sophomore, Aryan was selected into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and earned a certification in financial and valuation modeling through Wall Street Prep. 

 

During the summer of 2025 Aryan interned at RiverWest Partners, a Real Estate Private Equity Firm in Columbus, Ohio. During the summer of 2026 Aryan will be interning at Citizens in Cleveland, Ohio on the M&A team.

On campus, Aryan is an active member in various campus organizations including Delta Sigma Pi, BuckeyeThon, and 29th Honors Cohort.

I am from Naperville, Illinois, and am currently studying Finance with a minor in Quantitative Economics at The Ohio State University. As a sophomore, I was selected into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and earned a certification in financial and valuation modeling through Wall Street Prep. 

On campus,  I am an active member of the Business Scholars Program, Phi Chi Theta,  Buckeye Ventures, and Buckeye Capital Investors.  During the summer of 2024, I interned at LOUD Capital as an Intern, focusing on the Alternative Investments and Venture Capital space. For the Summer of 2025, I am participating in the Singapore Global Corporate Consulting program and interning at Fidelity Investments as a Finance Intern in their Boston office. 
 
Outside of academics and work, I enjoy playing soccer, watching sports, and hanging out with friends.

Daniel Chen is from Cincinnati, Ohio, studying Economics and Philosophy at The Ohio State University. He was admitted into Fisher Futures during his sophomore year and is involved with Buckeye Ventures, Buckeye Capital Investors, Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations, and Phi Chi Theta.

Daniel also serves as a teaching assistant for BUSMHR 2292. He is an incoming 2026 Restructuring Summer Analyst at Ducera Partners and has previously interned with Copper Run in Columbus and AHV Associates in London. Daniel co-founded the Buckeye Restructuring Club and is part of the founding growth and product team at RecruitU.

His interests include private markets, technology, AI, competitive PC games (Siege, Valorant), Clash Royale, stand-up comedy, video editing, and chess.

Kylene Chu, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, is a student at the Fisher College of Business studying Finance with minors in Financial Planning and Philosophy. As a sophomore, Kylene was accepted into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and received certification in financial and valuation modeling through Wall Street Prep.
 
On campus, Kylene is involved with Buckeye Capital Investors, an investment club at Ohio State, where she is the Managing Director of the Healthcare Group. She also works as a student manager for the Ohio State Women's Rowing Team.
 
During the summer of 2024, Kylene interned at KraftCPAs, a public accounting firm in Nashville, Tennessee. In the summer of 2025, she will intern at the Cincinnati Open as a Finance and Inventory Control Intern.
 
Outside of academics and work, Kylene enjoys baking, solving puzzles, and training for triathlons.

Carlos Gonzalez-Bachmann is from Alajuela, Costa Rica, studying Finance and Economics at the Fisher College of Business as a member of the 29th Honors Cohort. As a sophomore, Carlos was accepted into the highly selective Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and received financial and valuation modeling certification through Wall Street Prep. Outside of class, Carlos is a Morrill Scholar, Fisher Ambassador, a member of Delta Sigma Pi, and a member of Buckeye Capital Investors in the Technology group.

In the summer following his sophomore year, Carlos was a Healthcare Specialty Banking intern for Huntington National Bank in Chicago, Illinois.

Cody Goodnight is from Howard County, Maryland, studying Finance with a minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Ohio State University. Cody developed an interest in Finance while in a high school business program. He furthered these interests on campus with involvement in multiple student organizations at the Fisher College of Business, such as Buckeye Capital Investors and Finance Honors program. Cody was accepted into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program, where he received a financial and valuation modeling certification through Wall Street Prep. During the Summer of 2025, Cody interned at AstraZeneca in a Business Development role for the Oncology Department.

Ethan Karr is from Denver, Colorado, and is currently studying Finance and Accounting at The Ohio State University. During the Summer of 2024, he worked at Integrated Supply Solutions as a modeling and optimization intern, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in sterile processing systems. During the Spring of 2025 he interned at Dynasty Bridge assisting in the acquisition of a small business.

Joshua Lampa is a student from Parma, Ohio pursuing a BSBA in Accounting with a minor in Business Analytics at The Ohio State University. He is currently a member of the Honors Accounting Program, Fisher’s two-year program that focuses on an enriched accounting education, oral communication, and teamwork. During his freshman summer, he interned at Signet Capital Advisors, a Cleveland-based investment bank, where he developed an interest in working in the industry. Subsequently, as a sophomore, he was admitted into Fisher Futures, Ohio State’s preeminent investment banking program, and has since received a certification in financial modeling and business valuation through Wall Street Prep.
 
Outside of class, Josh is involved in the Kessler Scholars program, for high-achieving first-generation college students, and the Pilipino Student Association, serving as their Treasurer. Additionally, Josh is a member of Buckeye Capital Investors, Buckeye Ventures, and the Asian Business Student Association. 
 
In his free time, Josh enjoys weightlifting, rock climbing, running, cooking, watching wrestling and basketball, and playing FPS games.

I'm from Delaware, Ohio. Last summer, I did a corporate finance internship at BioTAB Healthcare in Saint Louis, and this summer, I'll be interning in corporate finance at Abbott. On campus, I'm involved in BCI, Fisher First, and IBP. I'm the COO of BCI and serve as VP in the real estate sector. Karthik O'Neil is from Cleveland, Ohio, and is studying Finance and Economics with a Statistics minor. Jack Robinson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance at the Max M. Fisher College of Business.
 
On campus, Jack is a member of the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program; the 29th Honors Cohort; Buckeye Capital Investors, where he is Treasurer and Managing Director of Real Estate; Buckeye Ventures, where he is Principal of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications; and Buckeye Restructuring Club. Additionally, he is a Teaching Assistant for Business Finance 3220. 
 

He has internship experience at Impact Real Estate Partners, a Cincinnati-based real estate development firm; Central States Capital Markets, a Columbus-based investment bank; and the Cincinnati Reds, a Major League Baseball franchise.

Beyond academics and work, Jack is an avid golfer, Cincinnati sports fan, and enjoys reading about the markets and history.

Currently, he is doing a spring and summer internship with Worthington Enterprises in Columbus, Ohio, as an M&A Analyst and looks forward to continuing his role throughout the summer of 2025.

Tyler Schwartz is a student at the Fisher College of Business, originally from Bridgewater, New Jersey, majoring in Finance with minors in Math, Computer Science, and Engineering Sciences through the Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors Program. During the summer of 2025, Malcolm will intern at BMO Harris Bank as a Wealth Management Intern in BMO’s Private Equity Credit group.
 
Malcolm also plays rugby for Ohio State and is a fan of the Chicago Bears and Bulls. In his free time, he enjoys bowling, board and card games, and building Legos.

Isaac Teders Fisher Futures Student.

Isaac Teders is from Findlay, Ohio, and is a finance major at the Fisher College of Business. As a sophomore, he was accepted into the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and earned a certification in financial modeling and valuation through Wall Street Prep. 
 
Outside the classroom, Isaac is actively involved in Buckeye Capital Investors as the Vice President of Industrials and Buckeye Ventures as the Industrials Private Equity Principal. He also had the opportunity to bowl for Ohio State during his freshman year, playing a role in winning a Big Ten Championship. During the summer of 2023, Isaac worked as a baseball field crew manager, where he gained insights into managing tournament revenue while enjoying the outdoors.

Levi Zouber is from Wayzata, Minnesota, and is currently studying Finance at The Ohio State University. As a sophomore, Levi was selected into the highly competitive Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and received certification in financial and valuation modeling through Wall Street Prep. Outside of class, Levi is involved in the Real Estate sector of Buckeye Capital Investors, the TAMID Group, and the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

During the summer of 2025, Levi interned at SIBF, a venture capital fund in Israel. He will be interning at William Blair in their Chicago office as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst during the summer of 2026.

Outside of school and work, Levi enjoys listening to country music, trying new food, watching comedy TV shows, and is an avid Minnesota sports fan.
