Fisher Futures
The Fisher College of Business Office of Career Management has developed Fisher Futures, a unique and innovative program to aid you as a top finance student at Fisher in attaining experience in the investment banking industry. While the application process is lengthy and selective, we invite you to apply to become a member of the distinguished Fisher Futures program.

Freshmen: Investment Banking Pathway (IBP)
What is IBP? The Investment Banking Pathway (IBP) is a student-led, seminar-style program committed to introducing undergraduate students to and preparing them for a career in the investment banking industry and admission into the Fisher Futures Program. The program is 15-weeks in length and lasts from the middle of the spring semester of a student’s freshman year until the autumn semester of their sophomore year.
Who's it for? The IBP program is open to all second-semester freshman and first-semester sophomores who want to learn about investment banking - no application is required.

Program and Requirements
Once selected to join Fisher Futures, you will receive individual coaching preparing you to compete for a summer internship and thus be well positioned to secure a full-time career position in the investment banking industry upon graduation.
Requirements:
- You must be admitted as a Business Major in Fisher with a Specialization in Finance and/or Accounting by Fall 2025
- You must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA
- You must be available for a summer internship in 2027 (May - August)
- You must be planning to graduate by May 2028
If you are accepted into Fisher Futures, you will:
- Compete for a Summer 2027 internship in the investment banking industry
- Participate in a Fall 2025 2nd Session class and Spring Semester 2026 class to prepare for networking and interviews in investment banking as well as to gain an understanding of the industry
- Train in financial modeling with Wall Street Prep
- Take part in trips to Chicago (November 2025) and New York City (January 2026) to visit investment banks and network with Fisher alumni in the industry.
- Be featured on the Career Management Website, including your resume, bio, and photo

Daniel Chen is from Cincinnati, Ohio, studying Economics and Philosophy at The Ohio State University. He was admitted into Fisher Futures during his sophomore year and is involved with Buckeye Ventures, Buckeye Capital Investors, Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations, and Phi Chi Theta.
Daniel also serves as a teaching assistant for BUSMHR 2292. In the summer of 2024, Reece interned at RiverWest Partners, a real estate private equity firm in Columbus, Ohio. At RiverWest, he analyzed potential acquisitions, created investment overviews, and built financial models.

Tia Maksimow is a student from Chatham, NJ studying Finance and pursuing minors in Political Science and Leadership Studies. Andrew Monzel is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Economics at the Max M. Fisher College of Business.
