Ohio State CIBER Global Business Grant for U.S. Veterans & Military

A goal of the Ohio State CIBER is to provide training to students enrolled in The Ohio State University and across the region. As part of this goal, CIBER is committed to expanding Veteran Training in IBT (International Business and Trade) through the Ohio State CIBER Global Business Grant for U.S. Veterans & Military. The goal of this program is to provide financial support (up to $6,000) for students at all levels of study to attend peruse IBT trainings, credentials and global opportunities.

Funds are available to undergraduate, masters and doctoral students who are veterans or current members of the U.S. Military in good academic standing.
Eligible expenses include:
• Registration Fees: Conference and other Ohio State travel policy eligible expenses.
• Travel Fees: Plane fares, train fares, ground transportation.
• Lodging: Up to, but not exceeding, the federal maximum per diem rate (http://www.gsa.gov).
The following expenses are not eligible for coverage:
• Software licensing for external systems not utilized by Ohio State
• Technology (laptops, tablets, phones), etc.
Note: CIBER can purchase your flight or reimburse for a purchased flight. Please note that your flight must comply with the Fly America Act.
Online applications will be accepted until September 15, 2025, and reviewed by a multidisciplinary faculty/CIBER staff committee. After you have applied to the Ohio State CIBER Global Business Grant for U.S. Veterans & Military grant you should expect to receive a decision regarding their application within 30 business days. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.
