IBE Honors

Application Process

The Autumn 2025 Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors Program Application is closed. Please check back in January, 2026 for information about Autumn 2026 application. If interested, please make sure to select University Honors when applying to The Ohio State University.

Application to the IBE Honors Program is restricted to incoming first-year business students previously admitted to University Honors in the Fisher College of Business. Please access the application at the link below:

IBE Honors Program students will be chosen based on academic potential (as indicated by their university application) and responses to IBE application essay questions. The objective of the essay questions is to determine whether students have an understanding of the goals and objectives of the IBE program and whether students can demonstrate an ability and willingness to work with others from a variety of backgrounds in a constructive and professional manner.

IBE Living Learning Community:
Students are also welcome to pursue the optional experience of participating in the IBE Living-Learning Community in Taylor Tower. There is a separate application process available through University Housing, and we will update with Autumn 2026 information this winter.
